Churchill’s primary industry is tourism, with thousands of visitors coming each year to set their sights on the numerous wildlife and plant life that thrive on the tundra and in the icy waters of Hudson Bay and the Churchill River.

The Tundra Inn is located on Treaty 5 territory, the traditional lands of the Cree, Dene, Inuit and the homeland of the Métis Nation. We honour their stewardship of this land, their cultures and their traditions.We recognize that these lands were the site of significant historical and contemporary events, including the fur trade, exploration, colonization and the ongoing legacy of residential schools. We commit to working towards reconciliation and building meaningful relationships with the Indigenous communities of this region.
